Stabilized Kerr Frequency Comb Generation in a Coupling-Gap-Free Integrated Microresonator

The possibility of generating Kerr Frequency Comb (KFC) in a coupling gap-free silicon nitride (Si 3 N 4 ) based on-chip ellipsoidal microresonator is reported. The nonlinear conversion efficiency and stability of the KFC improve with a slight change in the eccentricity of the elliptical resonator.
