Ultrashort Pulses and Frequency Combs from Nonlinear Photonic Time-Crystals

We predict the generation of a cascade of higher-order harmonics in a nonlinear photonic time-crystal, and show that their amplitudes are growing exponentially, and can lead to a frequency comb and to extreme ultrashort pulses.
