Experimental Demonstration of a Super-additive Joint Detection Optical Receiver

We realize an optical joint-detection receiver based on fiber-optical components and single photon detection. Experimental evidence supports that the architecture can achieve super-additive communication capacity over a classical-quantum optical channel.
