Probing ultrafast exciton dynamics in a monolayer of the magnetic semiconductor CrSBr
Combining near-field microscopy with terahertz polarization spectroscopy, we reveal the ultrafast formation and decay dynamics of paramagnetic quasi-1D excitons in the atomically thin magnetic semiconductor CrSBr, and extract their nonequilibrium dielectric function.
