Ultrafast All-Optical Measurement of Squeezed Vacuum in a Lithium Niobate Nanophotonic Circuit

We demonstrate ultrafast all-optical tomography of squeezed vacuum. Using a dispersion-engineered nanophotonic parametric amplifier, we amplify 2.5 dB squeezed vacuum encoded in ultra-short pulses and measure their photon statistics to calculate the Wigner function.

Abstract

We demonstrate ultrafast all-optical tomography of squeezed vacuum. Using a dispersion-engineered nanophotonic parametric amplifier, we amplify 2.5 dB squeezed vacuum encoded in ultra-short pulses and measure their photon statistics to calculate the Wigner function.
