Enhanced SHG Behavior of Plasmonic Metal Nanostructure Coated with Poled NLO Polymer

We propose a strategy using a poled NLO polymer to further enhance the LSP-enhanced SHG conversion of plasmonic nanostructures. A 300-fold increase in SHG conversion efficiency is achieved by coating Au nanostructures with this material.

Abstract

We propose a strategy using a poled NLO polymer to further enhance the LSP-enhanced SHG conversion of plasmonic nanostructures. A 300-fold increase in SHG conversion efficiency is achieved by coating Au nanostructures with this material.
