Long-lived collective Rydberg excitations in atomic gas achieved via ac-Stark lattice modulation

Collective Rydberg excitations provide promising applications in quantum technologies. However, the limiting factor is the short lifetime. We propose a protocol mitigating this issue using Ac-Stark lattice modulation. Our method extended the lifetime ten-fold.
