Crossover among different nonlinear absorption channels in the correlated van der Waals insulator NiPS3

We performed time-resolved optical reflectivity measurements on a correlated van der Waals insulator NiPS 3 and observed a crossover among different nonlinear absorption channels in the sub-optical-gap driving regime, which manifest as distinct scaling laws.
