Noise immunity through non-reciprocal topology

We show that nonlinear driven-dissipative chains with non-reciprocal couplings can enable immunity of one side of the system to excess noise. We show that this behavior is robust, owing to its connection to the non-Hermitian skin effect.

Abstract

We show that nonlinear driven-dissipative chains with non-reciprocal couplings can enable immunity of one side of the system to excess noise. We show that this behavior is robust, owing to its connection to the non-Hermitian skin effect.
