Synthetic gain for free-electron–light interaction

We introduce synthetic complex-frequency waves created by causality-informed coherent superposition of real-frequency waves, to provide synthetic gain for various electron-beam spectroscopy. This approach can retrieve hidden resonance excitation, enhance the quality of hyperspectral imaging, and resolve electron-photon entanglement.

Abstract

We introduce synthetic complex-frequency waves created by causality-informed coherent superposition of real-frequency waves, to provide synthetic gain for various electron-beam spectroscopy. This approach can retrieve hidden resonance excitation, enhance the quality of hyperspectral imaging, and resolve electron-photon entanglement.
