Nanophotonic enhanced nonlinear photocurrents in Weyl semimetal TaIrTe4

We use nanophotonic engineering to modify the nonlinear photocurrent response of Weyl semimetal TaIrTe 4 . Our results reveal that nanopatterned apertures can both enhance light absorptance and unlock higher-order exotic effects in photoexcited charge carrier transport.

Abstract

We use nanophotonic engineering to modify the nonlinear photocurrent response of Weyl semimetal TaIrTe 4 . Our results reveal that nanopatterned apertures can both enhance light absorptance and unlock higher-order exotic effects in photoexcited charge carrier transport.
