Optoelectronic Joint Pre-Equalization Using parallel GaN-based Green LED Arrays for Underwater VLC

We propose a novel optoelectronic joint (OEJ) pre-equalization scheme using parallel GaN-based LED arrays for underwater visible light communication (UVLC). The OEJ pre-equalization provides an improved signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with reduced hardware performance requirements.

Abstract

We propose a novel optoelectronic joint (OEJ) pre-equalization scheme using parallel GaN-based LED arrays for underwater visible light communication (UVLC). The OEJ pre-equalization provides an improved signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with reduced hardware performance requirements.
