Thermorefractive-Noise Quiet Point of Optical Parametric Oscillators

We demonstrate a new mechanism to suppress the thermorefractive-induced frequency noise in optical parametric oscillators. By operating at the quiet point we observe a 5× noise reduction in the phase noise of the signal-idler difference frequency.
