Orthogonalization of a Microcomb Degrees of Freedom for On-chip Clock Architecture

We demonstrate a novel Kerr-microcomb stabilization architecture employing dual-pinning of any two comb lines, which is independent of pump stabilization. Combining active and passive optical locking techniques enables an efficient and robust optical division scheme.
