Gas Switching Dynamics of Stimulated Raman Scattering in Hollow Core Fiber

We demonstrate a switchable infrared laser via stimulated Raman scattering in hollow core fiber pressurized with hydrogen or methane. Switching between emitting kilowatt pulses at 1 µ m, 1.5 µ m, or 1.9 µ m occurs in minutes.
