Pulse-Pumped Second-Order and Third-Order Nonlinear Interactions using Integrated Lithium Niobate Chips

We demonstrate lithium-niobate-chip-based pulse-pumped second harmonic generation using an electro-optic pulse generator and a periodically poled waveguide. A visible optical frequency comb spanning from 770 - 790 nm is generated with > 44% conversion efficiency.

Abstract

We demonstrate lithium-niobate-chip-based pulse-pumped second harmonic generation using an electro-optic pulse generator and a periodically poled waveguide. A visible optical frequency comb spanning from 770 - 790 nm is generated with > 44% conversion efficiency.
