Ultrabroad band second-order nonlinear optics based on periodic poled thin film lithium niobate

We report a ultra broadband second-order nonlinear optics based on an on-chip thin film lithium niobate. The chip scale device demonstrates a nonlinear conversion of 40 THz bandwidth as well as second harmonic generation with 14000% W −1 cm −2 efficiency.

Abstract

We report a ultra broadband second-order nonlinear optics based on an on-chip thin film lithium niobate. The chip scale device demonstrates a nonlinear conversion of 40 THz bandwidth as well as second harmonic generation with 14000% W −1 cm −2 efficiency.
