Coupling cavity and guided mode resonances for compact room-temperature Mid-IR Detectors

We designed compact mid-infrared detectors with external quantum efficiency ~51% by combining the benefits of guided mode and cavity- resonances. Optical characterization of fabricated structures is consistent with theoretical models.
