SF6-Filled Anti-Resonant Hollow-Core Fiber for Low-Loss, LP11 Single-Mode Transmission in the Visible Spectrum

We design and realize a SF 6 -filled conjoined-tube anti-resonant hollow-core fiber (CTF) for low-loss, LP 11 single-mode transmission at visible wavelengths. The fiber achieves a minimum loss of 0.45 dB/m and fundamental-mode-extinction-ratio of 24.5 at 660 nm.

Abstract

We design and realize a SF 6 -filled conjoined-tube anti-resonant hollow-core fiber (CTF) for low-loss, LP 11 single-mode transmission at visible wavelengths. The fiber achieves a minimum loss of 0.45 dB/m and fundamental-mode-extinction-ratio of 24.5 at 660 nm.
