A Silicon Nitride Contradirectional Coupler for Integrated Spectroscopy

We designed and characterized a grating assisted contradirectional coupler for use as a dual-function, wavelength selective filter for integrated spectroscopic sensing using the fundamental TM mode in silicon nitride waveguides at 780 nm.
