Control of logging and combating illegal activities using unmanned aerial vehicles
The article discusses the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for effective control of forest cutting and combating illegal logging. The advantages of using UAVs compared to traditional monitoring methods are analyzed, such as increased efficiency, coverage of large areas and reduced costs. Specific scenarios for using UAVs are described: identifying illegal logging, assessing logging volumes, monitoring compliance with forestry regulations, and collecting evidence for subsequent prosecution of violators. The prospects for the widespread introduction of UAVs into the forest resource control system are assessed.
