Nursing care for a patient with Wilson's disease

This paper summarizes the nursing process of a patient with Wilson's disease. The nursing key points include: performing general neurology nursing routines after admission; conducting risk assessments for falls, bed falls, and pressure ulcers; guiding patients in limb function exercises under the framework of multidisciplinary collaboration; monitoring psychological changes during treatment and carrying out cognitive-behavioral therapy ; preventing related pneumonia and pressure injures by swallowing function screening, body position management, oral care and other interventions; monitoring liver function indicators and enhancing nutritional support and complication warning. After active treatment and nursing care, the patient's condition stabilized and was transferred to the rehabilitation department for continued rehabilitation therapy.
