Power Optimization Control Strategy of Distribution Network with Multiple Flexible Resources in Renewable Energy Rapid Fluctuation Scenarios
Line overflow is a risk when renewable energies are heavily integrated into distribution networks. The quick fluctuations of new energy sources increase this risk even further. This paper proposes a line power optimization control strategy for distribution networks with numerous flexible resources that combine ex-ante optimization and real-time control. Firstly the distribution network optimization model is built to find the flexible resources' output power at the most cost-effective level while ensuring that the lines stay within the limit. The resource output is then dynamically corrected using a real-time power control system based on resource regulation and coordination to mitigate the effects of rapid change in renewable energy; Lastly, the suggested strategy is verified on a modified IEEE 33-bus test system, showing that it effectively prevents power overflow under fluctuations in renewable energy.
