LEXEME-VERBALIZERS OF THE SACRAL LOCUS WITH THE ROOT -VISHN- IN OLEKSII DOVHIY’S LANGUAGE WORLDVIEW

The proposed article analyzes the features of verbalization of the sacred locus and its realities by non-derivative and derivative linguistic units with the root -vyshn-. The study is based on Oleksii Dovhiy’s poetic texts. The author of the article considers the sacred locus as one of the central components of the conceptual worldview to the poet’s lyrical hero. Comparing non-derivative and derivative lexemes allows the researcher to emphasize the important role of word-formation devices in reflecting the realities of the author’s poetic world. As components of derivatives, word-forming formants allow them to comprehensively represent the psycho-emotional features of the lyrical hero’s internal state, his assessment of the realities of the surrounding world. These formants also participate in the transmission of the features of the poetic interaction of the author’s images in the text. During the research, the author of the article used the following methods: general scientific methods (descriptive with analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, classification and systematization); special linguistic methods (word-formation analysis, component and contextual analysis, lingual and poetic analysis). The study presents word-formation models for the creation of derived units, groups them by word-formation types, and establishes the number of word usages. The author of the article characterizes the role of non-derivative and derivative cognate lexemes in specific poetic texts both in isolation and in certain linguistic contexts. The ability of the considered lexemes to verbalize the positively connoted realities of the sacred locus is particularly emphasized, which indicates its appreciation by the lyrical hero as a uniquely therapeutic place of strength and protection. The author of the study notes that derivative and non-derivative lexemes with the root -vyshn- participate in the explication of the lyrical hero’s internal state. These words depict the realities of the sacred locus, visualize it and represent its structure. The prospects of the research lie in studying the complex functional-figurative load of the considered words in the poet’s linguistic worldview.
