A study on the characteristics of amateur golfers’ golf club selection: Focusing on the IPA technique
This study is a study on the importance and satisfaction of golf club selection attributes of amateur golfers. It aims to analyze the selection attributes and satisfaction that are considered important by utilizing the IPA technique and to provide basic data for establishing marketing strategies. The subjects of the study were amateur golfers aged 20 years or older, collected through online and face-to-face questionnaires, and a total of 336 copies were used for the final analysis. As a result of the IPA analysis of the importance-satisfaction of amateur golfers' golf club selection attributes, When examining the importance and satisfaction revealed through IPA analysis, it is thought that distance, tolerance, shaft, and head shape that directly affect performance should be maintained, but since the instructor's recommendation is important, an educational program that is suitable for the level of the instructor (lesson pro and golf fitter) should be developed and provided continuously.
