Research on the Extraction Method of Venous Pattern Features Based on FPGA
At present, there are many challenges in finger vein recognition technology, among which the most prominent one is the relatively slow speed of registration and verification. To this end, this paper proposes a vein extraction technology based on FPGA and applies it to the design and implementation of the finger vein pattern image recognition system, expecting to greatly improve the registration and recognition efficiency of finger vein pattern images. This system uses cameras to capture the state of human veins [1]. It acquires the characteristic information of veins through the connection of a USB controller and FPGA. The FPGA converts the received information into images recognizable by the naked eye and then sends the image information to the TFT screen. To achieve the above functions, in this paper, the FPGA chip is adopted as the control chip for image processing, the LHCO3540 model TFT liquid crystal display screen is used as the display module, and the OV7725 camera is used as the acquisition module[2]. After many verifications, this system has the advantages of high acquisition accuracy, good stability and simple operation.
