Research on Wind Energy Piezoelectric Collector for High-speed Trains
The safety of high-speed trains relies on the widespread application of intelligent safety monitoring systems composed of varies of vehicle sensors. The wind piezoelectric energy harvesting device is preferred to be used for power of vehicle sensors due to simple structure, high energy density, and ease of miniaturization. A new form of resonant cavity wind energy piezoelectric collector based on wind energy calculated theoretically for high-speed trains is proposed out in the paper. The piezoelectric equation is established and preliminary simulation is analyzed by exploring the output voltage law under different sizes and wind speeds, then relevant experimental research is conducted to investigate the influencing factors and laws of output voltage. The power supply circuit for vehicle sensors is discussed finally, which consists of wind energy piezoelectric collector, rectification device, DC conversion circuit, electrical control system, energy storage unit, and energy consuming load, aim to provide theoretical guidance for the design of resonant cavity wind energy piezoelectric collectors for high-speed trains.
