Dynamic Analysis of Spinning Frame Based on Variable Spatial Poses in Machining Space
Structural configuration and inter-axis coupling state of the spinning tool system affected by spinning frame spatial poses. To improve the dynamic performance and machining accuracy of spinning machine tool, a dynamic model of tool system considering the dynamic characteristics of machine tool joint was constructed. Using the natural frequency as the main reference index, simulation and experimental modal analyses of a tool system under different spatial pose—based on the finite-element analysis model correction method—were conducted to explore its dynamic characteristics and relationship with the positional and attitude changes of the generalized machining space. The results showed that the first-order natural frequency, vibration mode, and damping ratio of the system change with changes in the position and attitude, the difference between the lowest and highest natural frequencies being approximately 26%. The larger the X-axis coordinates, the more centered the Z-axis coordinates, the lower the natural frequency of the spinning system, and the larger the amplitude of the spinning roller.
