A Systematic Framework for Seasonal Color Palettes Classification

Seasonal Color Theory categorizes individuals based on physical traits like skin tone, eye color, and haircolor into four archetypes—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter—to recommend colors that enhance theirappearance and confidence. Seasonal Color Theory categorizes colors based on brightness, saturation, andwarmth, following the seasonal palettes proposed by Carol Jackson (2011). This study does not introducenew seasonal color palettes but instead aims to systematize and logically explain existing palettes that havebeen refined through practical application. It emphasizes the importance of grouping multiple colors toaccurately determine seasonal associations and provides a structured framework for understanding seasonalpalettes. By systematically categorizing hues and visualizing seasonal palettes through three-dimensionalmodels, the study aims to enhance the practical application of seasonal colors in fashion, cosmetics, interior design, and broader environmental color planning.
