Recommendations for the application of the methodology echeloning of the combat equipment complex (by elements of material and food supply) of a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine depending on the nature of service (combat) tasks

The article is devoted to the practical aspects of applying the methodology for echeloning the combat equipment of a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine by elements of material and food supply. According to the methodology, the distribution of the set of elements of material and food supply into echelons is preceded by several processes that are carried out in preparation for the performance of a service-combat (combat) task at the level of a military unit (subdivision). Their general purpose is to determine the necessary equipment for effective actions of military personnel and units in the course of their combat work. At the same time, the practical use of this methodology at the level of a military unit requires clarification of a number of provisions, as well as specification of the lists of material property that a serviceman must have when performing various types of service-combat (combat) tasks, and which, in fact, is subject to distribution by echelons. The article presents the lists of items of clothing and food supply for different types of assigned tasks, which are determined on the basis of the current standards of provision of the NGU servicemen, as well as proposals submitted by servicemen with combat experience in the current Russian-Ukrainian war regarding the additional need for items of clothing and autonomous food. The factors and criteria underlying the developed echeloning methodology were used in the formation of the lists. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the lists of material property required by a serviceman to perform various types of assigned tasks and the conditions of their performance. It is shown that the number of items required for different tasks varies significantly (up to 60 %), which indicates the feasibility of a differentiated approach to the life support system of the combat equipment complex of the National Guard of Ukraine.
