ON THE ISSUE OF DIGITALIZATION OF SEED CONTROL BY THE SOWING UNIT
Seed sowing control by a seeding unit is the process of ensuring uniform and accurate seed distribution in the field during sowing. The process involves the use of special systems and sensors to monitor and regulate the seeding rate, as well as identify and eliminate problems such as omissions or uneven seed distribution. Digitalization of the system and the use of a modern tablet as an indication module will significantly expand the functionality (make it more understandable to the user, add new functions). The process of developing a basic application and creating the main (Parents) and child (Childrens) widgets is considered in the paper. The purpose of the article is to develop an application with a parent widget and a child with introductory information about the seed sowing control system by a seeding unit. Python version 3.12 was chosen as the programming language for the application due to its popularity and simplicity, Qt was chosen as the framework, and PySide6 was chosen as the library for writing. The Qt Designer program was used for simplification. The modules included in Qt Essential (Qt Core, Qt GUI, Qt Multimedia, Qt Network, Qt QML and Qt Widget) are considered, and its structure is also considered. The main parent widget with a content field and a tab area and a child introductory widget with project information are created. The process of transition to the Python programming language format is described, and the source code of the widget is provided. The principle of operation of the Event Filter is described and the need for its use to control the number of open child widgets for the purpose of optimizing the application is determined, due to the fact that without control over open widgets and their timely closing, they will begin to accumulate and load the application, which will lead to unstable operation. The principle of compiling the source code of an application in the Python programming language into the executable file format exe using the Pyinstaller library is described, and possible library parameters for additional application functions are considered.
