Magnetic levitation pump control based on Active Disturbance Rejection Control

The magnetic levitation pump integrates the bearingless permanent magnet slice motor with the pump body structure, and utilizes the magnetic field to drive the impeller rotation to realize the completely bearingless medium pumping, which has significant characteristics in the biological, chemical, medical, semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace and other ultra-pure fields as well as high-speed drive field applications. In order to realize the control of magnetic levitation pump, the mechanism of torque control as well as levitation control is systematically analyzed. On this basis, a control model of the magnetic levitation pump system is constructed, and a simplified control parameter design method decoupling torque and levitation is proposed. Aiming at the deficiency of the levitation control in the anti-disturbance performance under the standard automatic disturbance control (ADRC) control without adding the known system parameters, an improved ADRC control strategy is proposed, and an expansion state observer (ESO) with some known parameters is designed. The dynamic performance and anti-interference ability of the magnetic levitation pump system are simulated and verified by Matlab/Simulink module. The simulate results show the improved ADRC control with high dynamic performance and strong anti-interference capability.
