Adaptive cruise control for intelligent life-saving devices in wide water areas
To address the challenge of drowning rescue in wide water areas, this study proposes a cruise control method for intelligent life-saving devices. The method enables intelligent positioning based on system-identified wide water area models, reduces positional errors through Kalman filtering algorithms, and implements autonomous route planning with path planning algorithms. A Raspberry Pi-based PID control system governs the device's cruising trajectory. Simulation modeling via MATLAB and aquatic field tests demonstrates the system's capability to effectively plan and execute cruising routes with accuracy controlled within 5%, providing technical pathways for unmanned surface rescue research.
