The Optimization Design of Testing Conditions for the Output Force of Biomimetic Artificial Muscles Based on Orthogonal Experiments

Due to their unique advantages in simplifying mechanical structures and energy conversion, biomimetic artificial muscles have attracted significant attention in the field of intelligent biomimetic robotics, becoming a focal point of current research. In studying their output force performance, the rational setting of test conditions is critical, as it directly affects the accuracy and comparability of experimental data. To address this, a three-factor, three-level orthogonal experiment was designed to systematically investigate the key factors influencing the output force of biomimetic artificial muscles, including test voltage, sample length, and sample width. Quantitative analysis of the data was performed by using the orthogonal experimental method, and the experimental results were processed through range analysis and variance analysis. This approach clarified the degree of influence of each factor on the output force and established their relative significance in descending order. Based on the experimental results, standardized testing conditions for subsequent experiments were established, laying a foundation for further optimization of the performance of biomimetic artificial muscles.
