Design of functional safety software based on the onboard tc3xx chip
In the current era, with the rapid development of new energy and intelligent internet-connected vehicles, the number of in-vehicle electronic control units (ECUs) has proliferated, the complexity of the whole system has increased significantly, and functional safety has gradually become a key challenge. To address this issue, this study designs a functional safety software scheme compliant with the ISO 26262 standard, relying on the Infineon TC3xx chip to realize it. The scheme can significantly enhance the ECU's fault diagnosis and safety assurance capability. Based on the AUTOSAR architecture, the study and integrates the safety self-test function and utilizes the chip's built-in error signaling module (ESM) to achieve collaborative monitoring, thus supporting real-time fault diagnosis, clock verification, memory cell self-test, voltage anomaly detection and peripheral interface status monitoring. Then, the article focuses on the security mechanism of DMA's module, introducing data checking, timing marking, anomaly identification and fault-tolerant processing strategies to significantly reduce the transmission risk. In order to verify the effectiveness of the scheme, this article adopts a combination of functional testing and fault injection, and analyzes it with the help of task scheduling tools and ISYSTEM debugging platform. The final experimental data show that the module can accurately recognize hardware anomalies and execute corresponding protection measures to ensure stable operation of the ECU. This result provides practical technical support for the safety software development of new energy vehicle control system.
