The Measurement and Simulation of the Equidistant Spiral Motion State of the Bench Dragon

This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the problem of dragon dance teams moving along equidistant spirals. The aim is to establish a mathematical model to calculate the position and velocity of each part of the "Bench Dragon" per second during its movement along an equidistant spiral. The polar coordinate system is adopted to record positions, where the polar coordinates of the dragon head at each second are calculated using the angular velocity formula and the polar coordinate equation of the equidistant spiral, and then converted into Cartesian coordinates. The angular difference of each dragon body segment is determined based on the length of the dragon head and the dragon body, further calculating the position information of each point. When the team continues to march toward the spiral center until a certain moment when it can no longer coil in, the coordinates and velocities of all points at that moment are solved. A simulation program is written to achieve high-precision simulation of the Bench Dragon.
