Research and Practice on Military Data Governance Model

With the progress of military informatization, issues including inconsistent data standards, data quality, and "data silos" keep impacting the extraction of data value, which subsequently influences the transition toward informatization and intelligentization for military areas. From a domestic and international perspective, this paper centers on advanced data governance concepts. Based on a military data governance model, this model takes current bottlenecks and issues as the starting point to dig into data governance framework, metadata, data governance processes, and data security governance. Hence, a practical application of military data governance in naval surface vessel training scenarios can be provided.
