Research on the dynamic operation overturn risk assessment method of gantry cranes driven by data-model fusion

Rail-mounted port gantry cranes (hereinafter referred to as "gantry cranes") are generally used in windy areas of port terminals. In such an environment, high-speed unsteady air currents can easily cause instability of the gantry crane trolleys during dynamic operations, thereby posing safety risks such as derailment and overturning. Aiming at the fact that the traditional single data-driven or model-driven methods can not simultaneously take into account the real-time performance, accuracy and completeness of the overturning risk assessment of the dynamic operation of the gantry crane, a virtual model of the gantry crane was established, a proxy model of the dynamic response of the gantry crane under the coupling effect of multiple factors such as wind load and lifting weight was constructed, and an experimental platform for the overturning risk assessment of the gantry crane was set up. A set of risk assessment methods for dynamic operation overturning of gantry cranes driven by data-model fusion was proposed. Under the action of an external disturbance with an equivalent pulsating wind speed of 12m/s, the dynamic coefficient of the trolley with a lifting weight of 20kg, a traveling speed of 0.01m/s, and a driving torque of 35N·m is 1.32. This verifies that the proposed digital-model fusion driven gantry crane dynamic operation overturning risk assessment method can sense the external disturbance in real time to evaluate the operation safety of the gantry crane.
