Modeling the influence of asymmetry antiphase section of field distribution on antenna radiation

When optimizing microwave antennas with a sector-shaped radiation pattern formed by an variable-phase distribution of excitation sources (currents or fields), significant model representation difficulties arise due to the presence of interdependent controlled parameters of such a distribution. To expand the possibilities of researching such antennas, it is possible to use a combination of mathematical functions and predicate logic to describe the field distribution in the antenna aperture. The purpose of the work is to use a combination of mathematical functions and predicate logic to expand the capabilities of the mathematical model of microwave antenna radiation to control the field distribution sections in its aperture when solving the problem of estimating the effect of the asymmetry of antiphase sections of distribution on the antenna radiation pattern. An integral form of the mathematical description of the antenna radiation pattern with an asymmetry of the antiphase sections of the field distribution in its aperture is proposed, represented by the sum of certain integrals taken over its partial intervals. Based on a combination of mathematical functions and predicate logic, a mathematical model of antenna radiation is constructed, containing parameters that allow controlling the asymmetry of the antiphase sections of the field distribution. It is shown that the asymmetry of the antiphase sections of the distribution significantly affects the antenna radiation pattern. The presented results indicate the possibility of improving the antenna parameters when the asymmetry conditions found using the proposed mathematical model are achieved, and can be recommended for practical use in the automated design of microwave antennas with variable-phase field distribution.
