Academician Petro Tymofiiovych Tronko: A Lifetime of Service to Ukraine

The article is devoted to the review of the activities of Full Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, prominent scholar and statesman Petro Tronko, whose efforts in the field of science, state building and monument protection have made an important contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture and national identity. The personality of Petro Tronko is presented in the study as an example of an outstanding organizer and ideological leader in the scientific and cultural spheres, whose results continue to influence the development of Ukraine to this day.
