Monetary policy as a tool of planned economic management
The topic of the article is to determine the balance between government regulation and market mechanisms in creating the material and technical basis of the Russian economy. According to the author, a shift in this balance in one direction or another leads to the attenuation and stagnation of economic activity. It is shown that achieving the necessary balance does not involve a mechanical connection of the main instruments of government regulation and market institutions, but rather a quality of public administration adequate to modern challenges and the use of the potential of market forces in the interests of achieving clearly formulated state goals of national development.
