Modified Block Equalization for Gigabit Automotive Ethernet System

In this paper, a modified block equalization technique is presented to minimize inter-symbol interference (ISI) for IEEE 802.3bp 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet system. The proposed modified block algorithm without the performance degradation can reach the reduction efficiency of 48% in multiplication compared with the conventional approach.

Abstract

In this paper, a modified block equalization technique is presented to minimize inter-symbol interference (ISI) for IEEE 802.3bp 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet system. The proposed modified block algorithm without the performance degradation can reach the reduction efficiency of 48% in multiplication compared with the conventional approach.
