A Comprehensive Performance Evaluation Model for Multi-Type Energy Storage Systems in Multi-Time Scale Grid Regulation
Current multi-type energy storage power plant performance studies mainly focus on single - dimension tasks like peak or frequency regulation. With limited indicators, comprehensive evaluation is challenging. Also, experimental data fails to accurately reflect real grid - operation performance. This paper builds a performance evaluation system for grid - regulating multi-type energy storage power plants, based on “Two Rules” peak and frequency regulation indicators of regional grids. Subjective weights are set per unit capacity allocation and “Two Rules” requirements. The CRITIC method corrects weights to handle index correlation and messy data. An improved CRITIC - based evaluation model is then constructed. Using actual operation data from a North China pumped - storage power plant for simulation, we find the model applicable to electrochemical energy storage power plants.
