Clean Energy Education and Talent Development: Interdisciplinary Innovation Pathways Toward Carbon Neutrality

The global carbon neutrality agenda demands urgent innovation in clean energy education. This paper proposes a tripartite talent cultivation model integrating interdisciplinary curricula, industry-academia collaboration, and international partnerships. By analyzing case studies from the EU, U.S., China, and Germany, we identify systemic gaps in current energy education, including fragmented disciplines (e.g., $\lt15 \% x$ of courses integrate AI/energy systems) and insufficient industry engagement. Empirical data shows that the “Three-Phase Dual Education Model” adapted from Germany increased graduate employability to 98 % in pilot Chinese universities. Policy recommendations emphasize AI-driven adaptive learning platforms and standardized global certification frameworks.
