Analysis of Grounding Resistance of Tower on Lightning Resistance Level of High Voltage Transmission Line
The grounding resistance and soil resistivity are important indicators for evaluating the lightning withstand level of transmission lines. To analyze the impact of different grounding resistance and soil resistivity on the transient overvoltage and lightning withstand level of transmission lines under impulse current, this paper establishes a simulation model of a 220 kV high-voltage transmission line based on the electromagnetic transient simulation software PSCAD. It simulates and analyzes the fluctuations in the amplitude of the tower top and grounding device potentials and the changes in the impulse grounding resistance under different soil resistivities and grounding resistances. The results show that when either of the two parameters is relatively small, the other parameter has a smaller impact on the lightning withstand level of the transmission line, and the lightning withstand level remains at a high level. This study has some reference value for the anti-lightning design of transmission lines in areas with high soil resistivity.
