Hierarchical Optimization Dispatch of Isolated Microgrids Considering Wind-Solar Uncertainties
Due to the inherent variability and uncertainty associated with renewable energy generation, the real-time output of distributed power sources frequently deviates from the reference value established under economic dispatch, posing significant challenges to the economic and stable operation of isolated microgrids. A novel real-time coordination mechanism is proposed to dynamically assess system margins, adjust wind and photovoltaic power limitation thresholds, and reformulate load output schedules. By compensating for the deviation between the actual microgrid generation and the intraday output schedule, the proposed framework effectively enhances system stability and energy efficiency. The case study demonstrates that, compared to conventional dispatch methods, proposed approach significantly improves renewable energy utilization and load restoration, underscoring the potential of real-time coordination between tertiary and secondary control in addressing the operational challenges faced by modern microgrids.
