Power Impact Model of The Rolling Mill Considering Process Characteristics
In response to the power impact problem caused by the process characteristics during the production of rolling mills, this paper proposes a power impact model of the rolling mill considering process characteristics. Firstly, based on the relationship between the active power of the rolling mill and the load torque, and taking into account the process characteristics of no-load and the switching between feeding and discharging states, the load torque equation of the rolling mill is constructed. Then, the parameters of the load torque equation are identified based on the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm, and the load torque reflecting the production characteristics of enterprises is combined with the motor model to construct a new model of the rolling mill that conforms to the rolling process flow of enterprises. Finally, based on the monitoring data of the rolling production line of a certain steel mill, the verification is carried out in the Matlab/Simulink platform. Through the comparison of simulation and measured data, the model effectively responds to load changes, accurately reflects power fluctuations, and the simulation accuracy meets the engineering requirements.
