Joint Optimization of Configuration and Operation of User-side Integrated Energy System Considering Multiple Uncertainties
User-side integrated energy systems (USIES) are a key driver for energy transition and an effective pathway to achieve the "dual carbon" goals. However, USIES involves the coupling of multiple forms of energy and are subject to various uncertainties such as energy prices, renewable energy output, and load demand. Therefore, planning and operating USIES under multiple uncertainties poses significant challenges. To address this, this study characterizes the uncertainties in electricity prices, renewable energy output, and load forecasts as box-type uncertainty sets. A robust configuration and operation model for USIES under multiple uncertainties is developed, with the objective of minimizing annual investment and operational costs. The model is reformulated as a mixed-integer linear programming problem to obtain the optimal solution. Finally, a simulation case study are conducted. The results show that among the three types of uncertainties, load uncertainty has the greatest impact on USIES configuration. Under a 15% fluctuation range, the capacity of the absorption chiller changes the most, reaching 597.66%. Investment and operational costs increase by 3.86% and 48.90%, respectively. In addition, the internal energy complementarity of USIES enables high renewable energy utilization rates, ensuring low-carbon and economical operation.
