AC/DC Hybrid Microgrid Power Balance Adaptive Regulation Strategy
To address power imbalance issues caused by renewable energy fluctuations and fault isolation in remote AC/DC hybrid microgrids, this paper proposes an adaptive regulation strategy based on an event-driven closed-loop mechanism. The strategy integrates droop control and Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) coordination to achieve fast and stable power regulation. Specifically, droop control with virtual impedance ensures initial power decoupling and stability, while VSG introduces virtual inertia to suppress frequency oscillations and coordinate diesel generator activation when power further declines. Simulation results validate the strategy’s effectiveness in maintaining system stability and enhancing fault response capability.
