Load Restoration Strategy for Transmission and Distribution Networks with Mobile Energy Storage under Extreme Scenarios
There has been a high incidence of extreme disaster scenarios which leads to widespread load shedding recently. To enhance the power supply reliability and post-disaster recovery capability of transmission and distribution (T&D) network, this paper proposes a load restoration strategy incorporating mobile energy storage systems (MESSs). Therefore, A spatial and temporal scheduling strategy for MESSs, including electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen buses (HBs), is first modeled. Subsequently, this paper establishes the reconfiguration model of T&D network to supply the load as much as possible. Finally, the proposed strategy is validated through simulations on a test system comprising a 29-bus transmission network (TN) and a 33-bus distribution network (DN). A comparative analysis of load curtailment and total system cost under different MESSs participation strategies is conducted. The results demonstrate that the proposed strategy can effectively dispatch MESSs, significantly reducing load loss and total system costs, thereby providing an effective approach for rapid power system restoration in extreme scenarios.
